Those of you familiar with my reviews know that I'm an insufferable nitpicker. These tracks are very mislabeled, which is annoying, but it can be edited if you're familiar with the band's work. Also, for the first half of the show at least, the mix favors the higher-freq instruments over the lower to an unbalanced degree, and since the musicians playing these tend to favor the raucous moods over the melodic, for me this necessitates frequent volume-knob manipulation. However, the music is so amazingly genius that I can't resist, and the recording is clear and high quality.

Subject: where are the grooves?

I grabbed this show because i thought it was going to be like MMW... and it wasn't...well, to much free jazz for me... i'm looking for really nasty, jazzy grooves and some creative dj's work... but the quality is quite good and if you listen to it again and again the show gets better. after all, 4 stars from me ;-]

Eric McRoberts, thank you thank you thank you for all these Delf shows. This band is exactly what Im into musically and for all these shows to pop up is a dream! The only thing better than this would be to actually play some percussion with them.
